My Story
10 years ago, MS changed my life. In 2027, I’m reclaiming the narrative.
In January 2027, I’ll be 350km north of the Arctic Circle, swapping my comfort zone for snowshoes, nordic skis, and the vast, frozen wilderness.
This isn’t just a trek; it’s a milestone. 2027 marks exactly 10 years since my MS diagnosis.
Multiple Sclerosis is a journey of its own—one that affects women twice as often as men. For me, the cold has always been a formidable opponent, often triggering nerve pain, stiffness, and crushing fatigue. Taking on an 8-day expedition in these conditions is the ultimate test of how far I’ve come in a decade.
I’m joining a group of adventurous women to prove that while MS changes your life, it doesn’t have to define your limits. We are trekking to ensure that the 9,000+ people in Ireland living with MS have the support, and resources they need.
